During the partial government shutdown, this court, as part of the Judiciary, has continued operating using court fee balances and other “no-year” funds. Paid operations using this funding can be sustained by the Judiciary through
January 18, 2019 (updated: now January 31, 2019). On or before that date, further guidance will be provided if the shutdown persists.

In the event of a government shutdown, the federal judiciary has determined that it can remain OPEN for business for approximately three weeks, or through Friday, January 11, 2019 (if a budget impasse lasts that long). On or around that date, the judiciary will reassess its situation if needed and provide further guidance.
